“I love working with trusts and looking at clients’ overall estate plans. To me, it’s like solving a giant puzzle and helping my clients figure out how all the pieces fit together.”
Pam Stephenson grew up in Gray and is a first generation college graduate who attended Thomas College on a full tuition academic scholarship. Although Pam was involved in various activities and many sports throughout high school and college, once she had children she learned the art of the “Mom’s taxi service” and supporting her daughters’ teams whether it be helping on boards for those organizations, cheering on the sidelines, or working the concession stands.
In her career, Pam has shown a similar ability to pivot: she worked in accounting and auditing before she found her real passion: trusts. And we’re glad she did. Pam’s attention to detail and knack for unraveling and distilling complicated concepts in trust documents makes her a strong asset to HM Payson’s clients and an ally of our attorneys.
Pam lives in Saco with her husband, Joe, and their dog, Brandy. Their two adult daughters attend college in Farmington and Nova Scotia. Pam participates from time to time in walks and charitable events for the Maine Cancer Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association, among others, and assists with community fundraisers and services for organizations including 100+ Women Who Care of Southern Maine. Pam enjoys spending time with friends and family while taking in the beautiful Maine summers at the beach, at the lake, catching a Red Sox game and sitting out around a campfire. Pam also enjoys baking and gardening in her free time.
