Amy L. Moody

Born and raised in Owls Head, Amy Moody comes from generations of Mainers. As a lover of the arts, Amy earned her B.F.A. in Classical Music Voice from Virginia Commonwealth University. In voice, she’s a lyric coloratura soprano who loves fast-moving musical pieces; but in life, she sees beauty in simplicity. Which is why, after spending six years in Virginia and eight in Utah, Amy came back home for Maine’s simple charm.

While music will always be part of her life, Amy has built a career around her love for numbers. She has worked in the financial industry since 2009 — first at Boston Financial Data Services as a phone representative team lead, and quality analyst. When an opportunity at HM Payson opened up, Amy was impressed with the positive employee morale, and she wanted to be part of a team that put its people and clients first.

As a Relationship Administrator, Amy brings positivity and efficiency to every client interaction. On any given day, you might find her helping clients with cash requirements, preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, or assisting the financial planning group. She loves seeing how data can empower clients’ financial decisions. She also enjoys working with younger generations of existing clients, carrying their family’s trusted relationship with Payson into future years.
