The fear surrounding coronavirus is causing some investors to panic, and we’re seeing that with this stunning sell off.

Investment advisers and business analysts told us the best advice for most people is just to sit tight.

“It’s very uncomfortable to see things going down,” H.M. Payson CEO Pete Robbins said.

From his investment advisory firm in downtown Portland, Robbins is watching a bad week as the coronavirus infects Wall Street.

“Markets hate uncertainty. I think more than anything that’s what’s going on,” Robbins said.
