Sam E. Burgoyne

A Cumberland, Maine, native, Sam Burgoyne began his college years in North Carolina and completed internships in Washington, D.C., and Chicago before returning to the University of Maine to pursue degrees in Finance and Business Management. He graduated in 2021 and worked in sales and account management before joining HM Payson in September 2022.

Sam is an exceptional communicator and easily connects with clients. His academic background in finance provided a solid understanding of the industry, which he continually builds upon through hands-on experiences at HM Payson.

As a Relationship Administrator, Sam’s days are diverse and client-focused. He handles a range of tasks, from managing account openings/closures to creating performance reports and responding to client inquiries via phone, email, Zoom, and in-person meetings.
