Off the Clock

Tim is an accomplished middle distance runner who was a nine-time Ivy League Champion, multi-year captain of the UPenn Track & Field team, and recipient of the Class of 1915 award, presented to the University’s top male student-athlete. Tim went on to compete in post-collegiate 800m races across the country with the New Balance Boston Running Group, through which he met his wife, Joanie. The couple enjoyed 15 minutes of fame when Tim proposed by leading Joanie on an 11-mile run through Boston that spelled out “marry me?” on his phone’s run-tracking app. Today, the couple lives in Cumberland with their two young children Theo and Kai. Tim is happy to report that Theo, age 3, already has a solid block start.
